Just A Reminder 07/05/2010
So this is not about food or yoga, but it is about your health; your mental and emotional health! If you are anything like me, you have MANY accounts online from banking to newsletter opt-ins to multiple email accounts. All of these acounts require usernames and passwords, right? Well I am the kind of person that goes for simplicity and ease. (tongue clicks, head moves side to side) My husband has told me a number of times to not have the same username and password for every account and this makes complete sense to me but do I listen? Not until now! It is not that difficult for someone to obtain your info and use it to their advantage. They do not always steal money but can sometimes just "have some fun" which is not fun for everyone! Especially for the person that had their info hacked into! Sometimes people can make subtle changes to your accounts, change passwords, and make a general mess of things. It can also get worse; stolen identity, stolen funds, stolen info, sabotage your reputation a so on and so forth. If you use the same username and password for everything go and change them up today! Go for safety and not ease! This is especially true if anyone knows the username and password to any one of your accounts. If you use that same info for something else...that puts you at risk! In peace, Kirsten CommentsLeave a Reply |
